film called Quickie express that will
portray greatly a story about a man who wants to change his life. With its light
stories combine with life lessons and portrayed in comedic way make this film
easy to understand yet meaningful and of course it is worth for you to watch
this film.
Leaving his hometown Medan to Jakarta, Jojo tries to make a decent
earning in Jakarta (Capital city of Indonesia) just like what other people from
the country side usually do. However, life does not always go as we want, and
that’s what happened to Jojo. Rather than get a better life his life becomes
more miserable. He screwed up that even it is hard for him just to have a meal.
However, Jojo’s horrible life only last until he meets a rich man who offers
him to work as a gigolo in his company that disguises as pizza delivery
company. In this company, he meets two men who later will become his two best
friends. His life becomes better now. Meet the girl he like, get a fun and easy
job and get a good payment make Jojo think that this is his best moment of his.
However, he forgets that “life does not always go as we want”.

Tora Sudiro once again shows us that he is a great actor. After bravely
taking a ‘gay’ role in Arisan which
is also written by Joko Anwar, he once again takes a role of a ‘gigolo’ in this
film which also an eccentric role. His tall body, muscular hands and abs and
attractive face with round eye really fit match the character he plays though. He
can seduce any girl he wants in a real life with his good proportion. In addition,
he also plays the character really well. There is no awkwardness in his act
either in romantic or comedic scenes. His willingness to take the challenge of
various roles in his career shows us how much dedication he has in his acting
and that’s what makes him a great performer.
This sex-comedy film is truly
enjoyable. Even though its full of social content but the film also full of
comedy. You will not feel bored when watching this movie because from the
beginning until the end of the film you will be provided with a lot of funny
scenes. Another thing is that this film is filled with lots of good soundtracks
that make the scenes more interesting and more enjoyable.

Despite it is filled with lots of
good actor and funny scenes but there is something that can bothered the
viewer. Aming’s unattractive overthin body make us think that something wrong
with the casting process. Its look like the production team do not have
confidence shoot film without a pure comedic figure. Another thing is several
conflicts that are too forced to be put in this film towards the end. “What is
the point of this scene?” you may ask this question when watching this film.
In
conclusion, quickie express is a sex-comedy
film with romance elements. With lots of good actors especially Tora Sudiro
make this film more attractive. He gave a lot of fan service for you women by
showing his body in it, so watch this film you will not regret it. This film
also is very funny and more importantly talk about social issue. It tells us
that in the slump of life there is always bigger lessons in life. Even though
there are some unimportant problems in this film but this film is worth
watching in your free time because you can learn about life in comedic way.
