think of Love? What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you heard
the word ‘Love’? girlfriend or boyfriend, husband or wife, family or even
happiness? Some of you think that love is spending a good time with a person
whom you like. Well, it is true but does love really bring happiness? Have you
ever wondered that love can bring tragedy? Fiksi
will show you the dark side of love.
Alisha (Ladya Cheryl) is a daughter
of a billionaire. She only spends her time in his big house with a house
assistant, gardener and a bodyguard. She never feels alive. One day, she sees
Bari (Donny Alamsyah) as a substitute gardener for 1 week. Seeing that he is so
lively not like fake people she usually meets, Alisha has some interest in Bari
so one day she follows him. She falls in love with Bari and chooses to run away
from her house. Obsessed with Bari, she moves to flats where he lives, even she
occupies the room next to his room. She attempts to get Bari attention using
any means necessary.

Cheryl’s acting in this film is a
top class. Her beautiful and innocent face really match with Alisha’s character
who never experiences the real world. Fortunately, her gorgeous looks followed by
a great acting. She can change suddenly into a psychopath Alishia. There is no
much difference in facial expression of Innocent Alishia and Psychopath
Alishia, however, you can feel the difference in their aura. Cheryl really shows
us a wonderful performance. Other main casts, Alamsyah, also gives a good
performance. His carefree acting is very natural. Thus, he has a good chemistry
with every character.
Another thing that is worth to be
pointed out is that this film is so tight. It means that there is no useless
scene. From the beginning until the end of the film, your attention will be
dragged by this film. You won’t aware that one hour and a half just pass by. This
film also full of unpredictable things that will make you amazed. This film
might be look simple at first but actually it is quite complicated. However, it
is still easy to understand.

The only weakness of this film is
some awkwardness in some scenes. Even though Cheryl plays the character of
Alisha greatly but when she acts with other characters there is some stiffness
in the acting. She has a really good chemistry with Alamsyah anyway. Even
though the focus of this film is Cheryl and Alamsyah and most of the scene is
only the two of them. You can still see clearly the gawky when Cheryl acts with
other characters and it is really bothered the viewers.
All in all, this film tells about the dark
side of love. If you want to try a different kind of romance films. fiksi is the right film and it will give
you a new experience. If you search for a romance movie filled with a lot of
romantic scenes, don’t see this film even though I will still personally
recommend this film. The reason is simple. You experience a new adventure of
romance when watching this film.
